Equipment

I have three fixed focal length (prime) lenses. 24mm, 50mm, and 105mm macro. I always use a tripod unless I'm doing Intentional Camera Movement photography. My camera is a Nikon D810 DSLR, which was produced from 2014 to the end of 2019. I got my copy in August 2019, a few months before it was discontinued. I love it! It has a full-frame 36-megapixel sensor, which has plenty of resolution for what I'm doing. I sometimes use a polarizer on my lens to help reduce reflections. I use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop for processing my images since they all start in the RAW format. I also use Photoshop to make the images appear to be on watercolor paper for digital display. I do not currently print my work. I started using a Camranger 2 setup. This device attaches to my camera and helps me make multiple exposures at different focal points in the subject. This is helpful for macro photography. Some newer cameras have this capability built in.
